On 01/03/2019, troops of 92 Bn, CRPF launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) against terrorists at village Khanoo Babagund, PS- Handwara, Distt- – Kupwara (J and K). During the exchange of fire, bullets hit to No. 911182721 HC/GD Shyam Narain Yadav of 92 Bn, CRPF who got severely injured. During the course of treatment, he laid down his life in the line of duty and attained martyrdom on 02/03/2019
